The NUC 12 Enthusiast is part of the Intel Alder Lake product family, and it is offered with Core i7-12700H 14 cores and 20 threads CPU. This processor is often used by companies for high-end gaming laptops. However, this powerful 12th Gen Core processor is not what makes this product so interesting. It’s the discrete Intel GPU.

The Serpent Canyon comes with Arc Alchemist A770M graphics preinstalled on the main board. This is the flagship Arc SKU equipped with full ACM-G10 GPU, 32 Xe-Cores and 16GB of VRAM. This is the best mobile Alchemist GPU Intel has to offer.
Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast comes in a coffin-shaped box which holds the Mini-PC, vertical stand and 330W power supply. It also has replaceable side panels, either with a skull or serpent, which can be LED illuminated.

The A770M runs faster than advertised 1650 MHz GPU clock. The in-game frequency oscillates between 1700 and 2000 MHz. It can run smoothly games at 1440p with medium and high settings and even 4K with some resolution scaling applied. This product will heavily benefit from the resolution upscaling technologies such as XeSS.

In 3DMark TimeSpy this system scores 10777 graphics points, which is 63% faster than its predecessor with GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
